Golden State Corridor - Economic Development Infrastructure Improvements: Planning, Engineering and Environmental Study
Fresno COG is facilitating preliminary planning work on infrastructure improvements which involve the economic development, preliminary engineering and environmental studies along the Golden State Corridor from the northern sphere of influence of the of the City of Fowler through Selma and to the southern end of Kingburg. Work on this preliminary study began in the Spring of 2010 and will finish in the Spring of 2012.

Fresno COG has prepared a Mitigated Negative Declaration on the proposed roadway improvement and design guidelines for the Golden State Corridor – Economic Development Infrastructure Improvements Project located along a 14.2 mile stretch of Golden State Boulevard between American Avenue (north of Fowler, California) and Mission Street (in Kingsburg, California). The complete project description, location and the potential environmental effects are contained in the Mitigated Negative Declaration. Due to the time limits mandated by State law, your response to the Mitigated Negative Declaration must be sent at the earliest possible date but not later than 30 days after receipt of this notice. The review period for the Mitigated Negative Declaration will be from December 8, 2011 to January 23, 2012.
