Fresno Council of Governments (Fresno COG) is seeking a versatile and talented Regional Principal Planner to spearhead the agency’s long-range regional transportation and land-use planning program –specifically, Regional Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy (RTP-SCS) development, and special studies/plans, under direction of the Deputy Director. Fresno COG has an immediate opening for a full-time professional level Regional Transportation Planner. The position may be filled at assistant, associate or senior level, dependent upon qualifications. Under general supervision, this position coordinates transportation and land‐use related projects and programs between the Fresno COG and its 16 member agencies, State and Federal agencies, project consultants and the public.
