Fresno Council of Governments (Fresno COG) is seeking a versatile and talented Regional Principal Planner to spearhead the agency’s long-range regional transportation and land-use planning program –specifically, Regional Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy (RTP-SCS) development, and special studies/plans, under direction of the Deputy Director. Fresno COG has immediate openings for full-time professional level Regional Transportation Planner positions. The positions may be filled at assistant, associate or senior level, dependent upon qualifications. Under general supervision, this position coordinates transportation and land‐use related projects and programs between the Fresno COG and its 16 member agencies, State and Federal agencies, project consultants and the public.
